Autumn. Cool and breezy days, crisp falling leaves, busy schedules and upcoming holidays! As we roll out of summer and the temps start to cool down, it is fun to change lanes…getting our sweaters on, firewood ready for fires, crock pots out for soup! Some exciting news, this season we are introducing a new Nosh Flavor for you : Gingerbread! It’s all you would imagine, with the warm and cozy spices of nutmeg, clove and ginger. We add a touch of molasses and all the nutritious nuts and seeds as usual. We think you will love this one!
As mentioned on our Social Media, one of our favorite things to make around here is Granola. We want to share our favorite recipe, very similar to our Noshbar ingredients!
3 C Oats
1/2 C each: pecans, walnuts, almonds and Brazil nuts (gently chopped)
1/4 C each: pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, sprinkle of flax.
1/3 C unsweetened coconut flakes
1/3 C golden raisins or dried fruit to add after baking
1/2 C Coconut oil
1/3 C maple syrup
1/4 C honey
2 T almond butter
1 t Cinnamon
Sprinkle of sea salt
Mix all dry ingredients, warm the coconut oil and mix wet ingredients. Blend together and spread on large baking sheet. Bake @ 275-300 degrees for 30-45 minutes until golden brown. stir at 15 min.
