It’s over halfway through, and this summer has proven to be an amazingly memorable one! I say that with much excitement because there are so many things we Love about summer. The Omaha Farmers Market is in full swing this time of year. We love to see all the familiar faces and meet new friends at our Nosh booth. Most times, once a sample hits their mouth, we are instantly friends :) Summer also brings all of the tasty and healthy vegetables to the table with a undeniable freshness. From the sweet corn to the peppers and tomatoes, it is hard to celebrate quite the same in the winter months. We love to stock up our fridge with fresh veggies from the market while supporting our local farmers.
Another exciting thing this season is our new connection with our friends at EAT FIT GO! Our bars are available in their Northwest store on 147th and Maple St. Eat Fit Go has a very similar philosophy, we share the love of clean eating and want to provide quick and healthy options for you to eat!
Finally, we are firm believers in vacation, fun, and relaxation… our favorite summer vacations take place up North in Wisconsin and Michigan. We are blessed to have family connections in both spots, going back several generations. Since our kids were born (and actually our grandparents!) it has been a summer tradition for us to head North and enjoy some downtime, recharging our souls and making memories. We are truly blessed!
